About Harcourts Drouin

With 20 years of experience and local knowledge, professionally servicing the real estate needs of clients in the Drouin, Bunyip and surrounding districts, local family owned and operated real estate agency Brian Soutar Real Estate Pty Ltd became proud members of the Harcourts International Group in March 2010.

Harcourts Drouin & Bunyip are still owned and operated by Brian Soutar Real Estate with the same local , friendly and professional staff. Directors Brian and Pauline Soutar both have always ensured that their staff have the expert local knowledge and professionalism and have always strived to put their clients first.

Harcourts Drouin and Bunyip will continue to offer a wide range of real estate services to our clients. These include the marketing and sale of farms, farmlets, residential property as well as commercial and industrial property.

We also have one of the largest and most rapidly growing property management departments in the district. Our property management department consists of two professional property managers, a commercial property manager, and a property management assistant.

    Officer In Effective Control/ Business Owner

    Brian entered the Real Estate Industry from the banking sector in 1986 before recognising an opportunity to start his own company, Brian Soutar Real Estate Pty Ltd in Drouin on 29th February 1992, twenty four years ago! Running and growing such a successful small business through the ups and downs of the last 24 years has at times been a challenge, but it is also testament to his character and it is also one of Brian’s proudest personal achievements. In 2010, Brian realised the many advantages of joining the Harcourt International group, but more importantly he also saw that their objectives very much aligned with his own - * People First * Doing the Right Thing * Being Courageous * Fun and Laughter. The union with Harcourts has definitely allowed Brian’s team to offer clients the most up-to-date marketing strategies, technology and training to optimise their real estate outcomes, but at the same time, always puts the client first – something he is also very proud of. Brian doesn’t have a lot of spare time, but when he does, he loves nothing more than spend time with family, in particular with his “little friends” granddaughters Isabella, Ava and Celia. Brian also loves following his beloved Richmond Football Club attending games at the “G” whenever he can.

    Pauline has been actively involved in the business from its humble three staff beginning in 1992 through to the present, with 14 staff ! Pauline believes that building relationships with her clients and assisting them to achieve their best real estate outcome is paramount and also very rewarding. She is passionate about seeing people happy with the purchase or sale of their home, business or land. In short – she loves her job! Pauline also finds great joy in mentoring younger members of staff and watching them develop. ‘Passing on the passion’ is her way of ensuring the values she holds dear continue. Pauline loves the fact that Harcourts Drouin and Bunyip can offer all the benefits of a family-oriented local company and at the same time is able to provide the broad marketing reach and latest technology of Harcourts International.     Brad joined Harcourts Drouin and Bunyip as the Personal Assistant to Co-Director Pauline Soutar in 2012. Immediately realising Brad’s ability to connect with people, his quick understanding of the procedures and general aptitude for the work, he soon transitioned into the sales area as an Agents Representative. In a short period of time he has already kicked goals, winning Harcourts awards for sales and most recently being rated as the most highly recommended sales agent across all Drouin real estate agencies in February 2016! Brad prides himself on an extensive understanding of the local market and is driven to achieve the best outcomes for his clients – who, after all, are often making the biggest investment or transaction of their lives – so the outcome just has to be right!
