    Brent Pullar

    Managing Director

    Born and raised on the Mornington Peninsula Brent was well known for his athletic ability and was awarded a 3/4 scholarship to Mentone Grammar School then later moving to The Peninsula School in Year 12 and his achievements that year saw him selected to try out and gain selection to the Victorian Institute of Sport for his results as a leading 400m & 800m runner. Once leaving school Brent decided to try his hand at real estate which saw him go from success to success. Starting in a modest office in Seaford with a business that was not performing he turned this around to be the market leader for the area individually and for an office . At the ripe old age of 23 Brent decided it was time to open his own office in Frankston . He purchased a business in need of work and set about a strong recruitment process which saw the business turn from 80 sales the previous year to 360 sales from opening the doors to the new business .Known as Bayside Real Estate this was the catalyst for more things to come. Later that year saw the purchase of another real estate business and the entry into the Mount Eliza area and his push into the Mornington Peninsula market. On August 1, 2000 Brent decided with his future business partner Steve Oates to form a real estate franchise known as Mornington Peninsula Real Estate. This partnership saw the making of an organisation that within a short period time saw it become the leading group on the Mornington Peninsula then the South East corridor through Cranbourne, Berwick, Pakenham areas with a strong foothold of 21 offices and growing. Soon becoming known simply as MPRE. After a fantastic partnership Brent along with his brother Troy acquired the Steve’s shareholding in the franchise business and explored ways to seek future growth for the group on a larger scale. This soon led to a number of meetings with different groups and the announcement and Joint Venture with Mike Green, Paul Wright and the Harcourts Group. This joint venture proved to be a successful decision for all parties with sales results starting from 55 million a month in property sales to 179 million in just on three years. Brent’s role as CEO saw him having to roll out the Harcourts brand through Victoria and following The Harcourts Way, followed by a strong focus on the recruitment of offices and sales people and seeing an increase of 400% in consultant numbers in this short period of time. Seeing through being involved and encouraging the Landmark Rural division into The Harcourts family gave Brent a great insight into the further value add of bringing two like minded companies together to help power and grow the Harcourts model. Today Brent is the major shareholder of the Harcourts Victoria Group along with being a director and shareholder of the Mortgage Express business for Australia. Harcourts Victoria is a well recognised brand and Harcourts Internationals best joint venture and Number 1 state in Australia and with our strongest record month last year achieving 254 million in property sales. Brent has spent the last 2 years with a large property management portfolio of 900 properties under management and overseeing and developing a sales team with a focus on the local market and establishing an apartment sales business , mortgage business and in the last half of 2015 securing a joint venture with a Singapore group to handle the management and mortgages of their local clients purchasing in Australia.
